Alaska Landscape Photography
by: Darwin A. Mulligan
I photographed this abandoned railway bridge in the fog and rain, from outside of a moving train. The location was near Skagway, Alaska. I researched the train ride before purchasing tickets, so I knew what side of the train I could photograph the bridge from. On a side note, DSLR cameras do not like rain…ask me how I know….
The train from Skagway, Alaska crosses the International border between Alaska, USA and Yukon Territory, Canada at this location. As you can tell from the photo, it is not very busy!
