Chateau Louis Staircase

This picture is from Crystal and Ian’s Edmonton wedding at the Chateau Louis. As I entered the lobby to take photograph’s of Crystal getting ready, I noticed the staircase and thought it would make a great shot.

I use a lot of off-camera flash techniques to create interesting lighting for my photography. In this picture, my assistant and second shooter, Barry, is on the second floor with Crystal and Ian. He has a flash aimed at the couple. I’m on the main floor photographing upwards at the couple. Even though I cannot see Barry, my “Radio Poppers” off-camera flash technology work flawlessly to capture this moment.
