I am a Professional Photographer with PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada) with over 25 years experience. I’ve achieved 4th Bar MPA (Master of Photographic Arts) with PPOC. My technical expertise, creative light control and attention to detail elevate my automotive photography to the next level.
I am an active member with NACOC (Northern Alberta Corvette Owner’s Club) and enjoy showing and racing my C8 Corvette
I’ve been a car guy since I was a little kid. Heck, I even have the Corvette Crossed Flags tattooed on my arm!

I have the knowledge, experience, and know how to highlight the unique features of your car, truck, motorcycle, or whatever you roll on. In addition to vehicle photography, we also utilize the same knowledge and experience for landscape, fine art, commercial, wedding, and portrait photography.
Equipment & Technology
As a Professional Photographer, it is imperative to have high quality camera gear. I photograph with Canon – my R3 mirrorless camera has 2 card slots. Images get written to both cards at the same time. In the event that one card fails, the second card will contain identical information (photo). Lenses I own range from 15mm wide angle to 600mm super telephoto. Of course, fluent skills in Lightroom and Photoshop are a requirement! Investing in high quality equipment, continuous education, maintaining my membership as an Accredited Professional Photographer with the Professional Photographers of Canada all demonstrate my commitment to delivering exceptional images and an incredible customer experience.

As a Professional Automotive Photographer, I am able to capture any vision you may have for a final image. I will bring my creativity and technical expertise to your shoot as well. All of this will result in a completely personalized photoshoot for you.
When the customer’s Dad was alive, he convinced his son Darren to “get the Camaro”. So, when his Dad passed away, it was only natural for Darren to carry some of his father’s ashes in a small container attached to the car keys so that his Dad could always be with Darren when he was driving. I HAD to come up with a great image! Darren & Jody’s testimonial is below.
Customer and I were on location a couple hours prior to sunrise. Approx. 50 images were taken here. Separate exposures taken for car, lights, foreground, background, sky. These images were combined in Photoshop and then this “CAR-Toon” image was the resultant final image. Over 7 hours of time was required.
