Danielle & Justin’s Wedding at the Art Gallery of Alberta
An Edmonton Wedding
Justin is an avid photographer and wanted to take his camera to the wedding……
…. but Danielle didn’t agree.
My second wedding photographer and assistant Barry started the day very early photographing Danielle and the girls getting their hair and makeup done. After a few photographs with Danielle getting her dress on, it was off to the church to photograph Justin and his best men prior to the ceremony. And no, Justin didn’t have a camera with him! I could see him here analyzing my photography techniques, lens choice, off-camera flash positioning, etc and just knew he wanted his camera!! Talk about pressure!
Wedding Photography At the Art Gallery of Alberta in Edmonton
For the formals, we stopped at the ice skating rink in front of City Hall for a few photographs. Originally, the guys were going to go skating with their tuxes on, but, this is February… in Edmonton. Needless to say, it was VERY COLD, so we finished the photography session in the Art Gallery of Alberta. This is my favorite indoor photography location!
Danielle and Justin had insisted that my assistant and I ride with the bridal party in the Limo. This was a great idea as it allows more fun wedding photographs to be taken on the way from the Art Gallery of Alberta to Woodvale Community League for an incredible supper. It’s amazing how hungry a person gets after a full day of photography……mmm supper!
Cake cutting, dancing and partying followed supper.
The only thing left for me to do is find 30 plus hours for processing all of the photographs!
